One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Edgy Flower. Vieux Guerrier ended up behind the leader. San Quentin got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Vieux Guerrier started to galop and lost 40 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Portable General sprinted to the front. Granny Smith galloped way to long and was disqualified. driver couldn't keep Spontané to trotting so they were disqualified. Prospectus was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

Stepping Lemon took the lead after 1000m. Portable General didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Stepping Lemon followed by Vieux Guerrier and San Quentin. Lane two Arrested Again followed by Global Rebel and Edgy Flower.

Stepping Lemon was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Vieux Guerrier was first on the homestretch followed by Arrested Again and Global Rebel.

Stefan Persson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Stepping Lemon started to galopp and lost 10 m.

Global Rebel sprinted over the finishline before Vieux Guerrier and Portable General.
