The sun was shining on Loviisa today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Forever could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 10 m. Forever was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m. Vanilla Gold galloped way to long and was disqualified.




This is the positions after 500m. Arvoinen Aivan, Elegant Starlight, Helpful Comet, Forever, Epona, Cornichon, Temple Knight, Royal Warrior. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Elegant Starlight sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified.




Helpful Comet accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 20 m.




Helpful Comet kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Cornichon suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Vanilla Gold galoped for 60m and was disqualified.




Arvoinen Aivan won the race after a spectacular finish.
