The sun was shining on Harstad today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Mad Vanilla. Sudden Lilac ended up behind the leader. Nouveau Triomphe got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Nouveau Triomphe started to galop and lost 30 m. Per Oleg Midtfjeld wanted a little to much in the start and Mellby Sambuca galoped for 40 m.




Amour Propre quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Sudden Lilac sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Amour Propre galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.




Sudden Lilac kept the speed the whole finish and won before Mad Vanilla and Wild Cookie.
