It had been raining for several days at Boden but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Arctic Oil took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Gare Du Nord, Light Sunset, Strong Stone, Vivaldi Hof, Powerful Energy, Active Sword, Rugged Movement, Growing Movement.




Vivaldi Hof took the lead after 1000m. Powerful Energy didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Honourable Ship looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Honourable Ship kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Honourable Ship looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Arctic Oil made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Honourable Ship.
