Only a humble breeze blew over Åby this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Funky Starshine could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Exporting Christmas, Try Again, Fine Design, Gathering Darkness, Slow Panther, Tender Wolf, Stopping Crusher, Funky Starshine. A bird flew just in front of Suki Zucchini Cherry who started to galop and lost 30 m.




Exporting Christmas clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Exporting Christmas today. It continued in the lead.



Exporting Christmas were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Slow Panther made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Funky Starshine.
