The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Karlshamn this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Mike On Fire sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Forever Blowing Bubbles started to galop and lost 40 m. Power Band was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m. When the startcar left the field Stiletto started to galop and lost 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Flying Rocker, Mike On Fire, Stiletto, Power Band, Paleface Avenger, Decisive Runner, The Collector, Wont Lose.

Power Band looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Mike On Fire couldn't come out from behind the leader, Flying Rocker.

Decisive Runner saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

With only a little left of the race Wont Lose galoped for 40 m. Decisive Runner sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Wont Lose was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.

Mike On Fire won. Decisive Runner came in second. Flying Rocker caught third place.
