The weather had been good all week and Turku was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Falling Sparkle tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Pink Sunshine that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Insane Princess started to galop and lost 50 m. Wandering Diamond suddenly started to galop. Mauri Jaara had to struggle to get Wandering Diamond to tror again and succeded after 20 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Wandering Diamond was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Starstruck Wind sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Starstruck Wind was still in the lead after 1500m.




Falling Sparkle put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



Falling Sparkle kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Wandering Diamond sprinted over the finishline before Pink Sunshine and Ghostly Runaway.
