One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Heavy Lion could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Heavy Lion was in fine shape and held the lead.




The leader got disturbed by something and Gendarmerie took the lead rather easily.




Heavy Lion accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Heavy Lion were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Gendarmerie won. Heavy Lion came in second. Sliding Thrasher caught third place.
