It had been raining for several days at Bollnäs but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Barefoot Meadow took the lead after a very quick start.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Dribbling Pirate sprinted to the front.

Barefoot Meadow took the lead after 1000m. Flickering Spring didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Flickering Spring accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Flickering Spring looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Winner of todays race was Flickering Spring. Dribbling Pirate came in second. Barefoot Meadow became third.
