One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Adventurous Thrasher. When In Rome ended up behind the leader. Pretty Cookie got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Adventurous Thrasher started to galop and lost 30 m.

Cunning Asteroid quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

When In Rome looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Adventurous Thrasher couldn't come out from behind the leader, Cunning Asteroid.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Cunning Asteroid followed by Adventurous Thrasher and Opposing Breeze. Lane two When In Rome followed by Pretty Cookie and Gorgeous Tropic.

With only a little left of the race When In Rome galoped for 30 m. Cunning Asteroid sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Cunning Asteroid kept the speed the whole finish and won before Adventurous Thrasher and When In Rome.
