One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Preacher Man took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Flickering Ring, Rapide Du Bloc, Gold Princess, Ticking Glam, Connemara, Rocking Legend, Preacher Man, Zircon Sagittaire. Zircon Sagittaire started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Flickering Ring sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Flickering Ring followed by Gold Princess and Preacher Man. Lane two Ticking Glam followed by Rocking Legend and Rapide Du Bloc.




Flickering Ring didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.




Flickering Ring was safely in the lead after 2500m.



Flickering Ring looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Per Ludvig Nilsen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Flickering Ring started to galopp and lost 50 m.
