The weather had been good all week and Hoting was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Sneaky Asteroid took the lead after a very quick start.
Rugged
Knight saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.
Ibor Larockma looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sneaky Asteroid couldn't come out from behind the leader, Rugged
Knight.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Rugged
Knight followed by Ibor Larockma and Piccolo S.K.. Lane two Toulouse followed by Sneaky Asteroid and Black Wave.
