It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Aufgebracht Windet sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Tailwind started to galop and lost 40 m.




Windy Pie saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Tailwind who started to galop and lost 40 m.




Mad Flower looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Aufgebracht Windet couldn't come out from behind the leader, Windy Pie. Pointing Closet was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Windy Pie was still in the lead after 1500m.



Windy Pie kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Aufgebracht Windet was disturbed and galopped for 10 m.




Winner of todays race was Windy Pie. Mad Wish came in second. Brave Whirlwind became third.
