One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Zoet Ingrediënt tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to
Falling Ballerina that came steaming ahead.
There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.
Zoet Ingrediënt looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that
Falling Ballerina couldn't come out from behind the leader,
Gotagun.

Gotagun sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
No-one could catch
Falling Ballerina today who won before

Gotagun.
