One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lion And King tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Elegant Gold that came steaming ahead. Erik Lindegren wanted a little to much in the start and Portable Star galoped for 20 m.




Portable Star quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Portable Star was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Elegant Gold accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Elegant Gold kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Bordeaux was disturbed and gallopped for 30 m.



Elegant Gold looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Lion And King galoped way to long and was disqualified.




Elegant Gold kept the speed the whole finish and won before Portable Star and Growing Satellite.
