One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Opposing Heroine tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Joking Sphinx that came steaming ahead. Stepping Hope was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Fighting Runner sprinted to the front.

Geir Almighty looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Kip Kip Hooray couldn't come out from behind the leader, Fighting Runner.

Joking Sphinx looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Floating Venus was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Joking Sphinx looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Seductive Factory galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.

Geir Almighty sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
