The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Bollnäs today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Running Speed tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Droed Sprained that came steaming ahead.

Wookie Dylan quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Blue Fist took the lead after 1000m. Swedish Gas didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Pollywog suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Blue Fist followed by Running Speed and Handy Agent. Lane two Swedish Gas followed by Droed Sprained and Wookie Dylan. Handy Agent started to gallop after 1500m and Peter M Andersson had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Droed Sprained galloped for 10 m. Inkas Tanana started to gallop after 1500m and Linda S Hedström had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

With only a little left of the race Pollywog galoped for 30 m. With only a little left of the race Sneaking Red galoped for 10 m. Blue Fist looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Tomas Pettersson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Running Speed started to galopp and lost 50 m.

Handy Agent won the race after a spectacular finish.
