One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Blue Fountain was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Loving Sunray started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Adorabile Vittoria looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Ahimsa Tokyo couldn't come out from behind the leader, Blue Fountain.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Blue Fountain followed by Ahimsa Tokyo and Loving Sunray. Lane two Adorabile Vittoria followed by Windy Raspberry and Sunday Wonder. Blue Fountain galloped for 10 m.



Blue Fountain sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Blue Fountain. Ahimsa Tokyo came in second. Adorabile Vittoria became third.
