The sun was shining on Färjestad and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Lord Nelson found a gap and took the lead. Commerciante followed before Mad Sun.

This is the positions after 500m. Commerciante, Ice Cold Shot, Aindriú Mo Chroí, Lord Nelson, Lonely Dancer, Running Missile, Mad Sun, Shooting Strategy.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Aindriú Mo Chroí was disturbed and galoped 40 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Commerciante followed by Lord Nelson and Mad Sun. Lane two Running Missile followed by Ice Cold Shot and Lonely Dancer.

With only a little left of the race Aindriú Mo Chroí galoped for 40 m. Commerciante looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Mad Sun was disturbed and galopped for 30 m.

Final standings. 1 Lord Nelson, 2 Commerciante, 3 Running Missile.
