One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Ivory Sapphire. Cunning Dragon ended up behind the leader. Quick Bullet got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Fast Bandwagon quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Quick Bullet took the lead after 1000m. Cunning Dragon didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Fast Bandwagon suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m. Close Dragon suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.

Cunning Dragon looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Close Dragon gallopped for 40 m.

With only a little left of the race Fitzgerald Hof galoped for 50 m. Quick Bullet was first on the homestretch followed by Cunning Dragon and Ivory Sapphire.

Fast Bandwagon galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.

Quick Bullet kept the speed the whole finish and won before Ivory Sapphire and Cunning Dragon.
