One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Pink Whirlwind could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Pink Whirlwind suddenly started to galop. Håkan Eriksson had to struggle to get Pink Whirlwind to tror again and succeded after 20 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.
