The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Arvika this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Falling Architecture could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Eh Me Again, Buttahatchee, Beautiful Fabric, Continental Drift, Pinstripe´s Zipline, Falling Architecture, Quaker Rebel, Carlos Sheridan.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. driver couldn't keep Falling Architecture to trotting so they were disqualified.




Quaker Rebel looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Quaker Rebel kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Buttahatchee was disturbed and gallopped for 40 m.




Quaker Rebel seemed to be in good shape this day and continued in the lead.



With only a little left of the race Continental Drift galoped for 20 m. Quaker Rebel looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Beautiful Fabric sprinted over the finishline before Quaker Rebel and Continental Drift.
