It had been raining for several days at Rovaniemi but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Briano tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Myristica that came steaming ahead. Briano was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




Quick Blast quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Loving Rock who started to galop and lost 50 m.




Walking Boulder sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Markku Nieminen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Myristica started to galopp and lost 50 m.




No-one could catch Walking Boulder today who won before Quick Blast and Briano.
