One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Grasping Darkness found a gap and took the lead. Swinging Diva followed before Ghostly Cup. Sans Xylene was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Swinging Diva who started to galop and lost 30 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
