The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Färjestad this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Aurélie could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Aurélie was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Sliding Energy looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Inflazione couldn't come out from behind the leader, Aurélie.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Aurélie today. It continued in the lead.



Inflazione suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Sliding Energy made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Inflazione.
