The weather had been good all week and Turku was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Mr Las Vegas found a gap and took the lead. Makin´ A Mess followed before Opposing Heroine.

Monday Diamond saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Opposing Heroine who started to galop and lost 10 m. Walking Wonder started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Vont sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Walking Gold accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Mr Las Vegas galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Walking Gold didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Opposing Heroine was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Walking Gold sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Walking Wonder galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.

Final standings. 1 Beautiful Feeling, 2 Walking Gold, 3 Opposing Heroine.
