One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Modest Breeze could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Counterfeit Pony looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Modest Breeze litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Modest Breeze was disturbed and galopped for 40 m.




Expensive Love made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Counterfeit Pony.
