The sun was shining on Jägersro and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Heavenly Tropic tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Vanuit Mijn Hartje that came steaming ahead.




Heavenly Tropic quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Opposing Queen started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Heavenly Tropic clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Heavenly Tropic followed by Amafora Isabelle and Handy Hero. Lane two Vanuit Mijn Hartje followed by Thinking Stone and Rondte.



Heavenly Tropic kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Vanuit Mijn Hartje made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Amafora Isabelle.
