One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Alf was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Silly Thinker saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Alf was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Silly Thinker looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Fair Breath couldn't come out from behind the leader, Fast Piece.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Silly Thinker today. It continued in the lead.




Fast Piece put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



Maria litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






No-one could catch Maria today who won before Fast Piece and Dance Little Sister.
