Only a humble breeze blew over Axevalla this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Decisive Band tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Funky Needle that came steaming ahead. Arctic Zone galloped way to long and was disqualified. When the startcar left the field Ro Lo started to galop and lost 10 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Funky Needle was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Funky Needle was still in the lead after 1500m.



Funky Needle looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Ro Lo won the race after a spectacular finish.
