One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Powerful Box took the lead after a very quick start.




Falling Meadow quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Falling Meadow started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Rocking Sergeant suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Falling Meadow followed by Rhythm Fortification and Coles Law. Lane two Powerful Box followed by Rocking Sergeant and Tiny Blast.




Falling Meadow didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Falling Meadow was disturbed and gallopped for 10 m.



Falling Meadow looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Powerful Box won. Falling Meadow came in second. Rhythm Fortification caught third place.
