The weather had been good all week and Kalmar was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Daragh. Quick Blast ended up behind the leader. Lover Boy got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




This is the positions after 500m. Due To Blizzard, Star Champion, Bugmom, Quick Blast, Brown Work, Daragh, Rolling Jewel, Lover Boy.




Star Champion took the lead after 1000m. Lover Boy didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Daragh suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m. Nichel Vox was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Star Champion today. It continued in the lead.



Cool Man was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Star Champion looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Lover Boy, 2 Star Champion, 3 Quick Blast.
