One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Striking Cocktail. Glowing Electra ended up behind the leader. Muscular Cruiser got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Striking Cocktail was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Old Judge, Glowing Electra, Reach Out, Waterfront, Muscular Cruiser, Walking Wolf, Striking Cocktail, Gare Du Nord. Muscular Cruiser was disturbed and galoped 10 m. Kentish Town started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Walking Wolf sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Walking Wolf followed by Striking Cocktail and Skurken Cherry. Lane two Muscular Cruiser followed by Gare Du Nord and Reach Out.

Walking Wolf sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

Walking Wolf looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Walking Wolf didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
