The weather had been good all week and Färjestad was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Travelling Stardust took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Immaculate Convergence started to galop and lost 50 m.




Travelling Stardust was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Black Bandwagon sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Travelling Stardust galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Black Bandwagon followed by Travelling Stardust and Eri Nopea. Lane two Immaculate Convergence followed by Rugged Wolf and Confident Wave. Eri Nopea galloped for 30 m.



Black Bandwagon kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Eri Nopea galopped for 50 m on the homestretch.




Winner of todays race was Black Bandwagon. Immaculate Convergence came in second. Rugged Wolf became third.
