The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.

Crossing Heat found a gap and took the lead. Gold Rhythm followed before Maurice Greene. When the startcar left the field Crossing Heat started to galop and lost 20 m. Jago galloped way to long and was disqualified.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Pretty Moon sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Tony Thompson who started to galop and lost 50 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Maurice Greene looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Amazing Lily started to gallop after 1500m and Tapio Perttunen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

With only a little left of the race Poppy galoped for 10 m. Maurice Greene sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Tony Thompson galoped for 60m and was disqualified.

Crossing Heat won. Gold Rhythm came in second. Maurice Greene caught third place.
