One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Modest Breeze tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Breaking Viper that came steaming ahead.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Amber Godiva took the lead after 1000m. Breaking Viper didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Modest Breeze looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Modest Breeze looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Breaking Viper sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
