Only a humble breeze blew over Riihimäki this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Purple Trap tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Flickering Garden that came steaming ahead.




El Rapido quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Purple Trap looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Flickering Garden couldn't come out from behind the leader, El Rapido.




Purple Trap accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



With only a little left of the race Green Ray galoped for 40 m. Purple Trap sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Purple Trap. Flickering Garden came in second. Melwood became third.
