One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Silver Vanilla was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Maria saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Maria clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Maria today. It continued in the lead.



Aindriú Mo Chroí speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Aindriú Mo Chroí didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
