One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Big Muscle sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Dianthus Superbus saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Dianthus Superbus today. It continued in the lead.




Dianthus Superbus kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.




Dianthus Superbus seemed to be in good shape this day and continued in the lead.



With only a little left of the race Heavy Thinking galoped for 40 m. Dianthus Superbus sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Kiwii showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Heavy Thinking galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.




Big Muscle won the race after a spectacular finish.
