Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sleepy Viper tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Köttbullen that came steaming ahead. Köttbullen was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.




Sunday Wind saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Être Feux took the lead after 1000m. Cheerful Bear didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Cheerful Bear looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Cheerful Bear looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Köttbullen, 2 Sunday Wind, 3 Cheerful Bear.
