It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Ezon. Moonlight ended up behind the leader. Stepping Bouquet got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Advanced Factory sprinted to the front. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. American Pancake suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m. Belinda Love looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Belinda Love were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line. Advanced Factory won. Belinda Love came in second. Stepping Bouquet caught third place. Results
