The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Comfortable Wolf found a gap and took the lead. Galway followed before Jumping Cube. Sowing Lady suddenly started to galop. Veijo Heiskanen had to struggle to get Sowing Lady to tror again and succeded after 30 m.

Sikre Jeres saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Famous Princess took the lead after 1000m. Rolling Breeze didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 40 m. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m. Comfortable Wolf was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

Galway accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Galway looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Galway didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
