One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Light His Fire took the lead after a very quick start. Elegant Forest was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.




Light His Fire was in fine shape and held the lead. driver couldn't keep Ziti to trotting so they were disqualified. Pampered Vixen started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Light His Fire followed by Pampered Vixen and Elegant Forest. Lane two Pinstripe´s Pin Pinuppa followed by Breaking Darkness and Ziti.



Light His Fire were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Light His Fire didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
