One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Breakfast in America was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Cute Cake was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Breakfast in America clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Cute Cake looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Frozen Thrasher started to gallop after 1500m and Linda S Hedström had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Strong Asteroid was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Cute Cake sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Breakfast in America won. Athletic Pressure came in second. Cute Cake caught third place.
