One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sayonara Zadiff tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Orbit Experience that came steaming ahead.




Orbit Experience was in fine shape and held the lead. Rainbow Wave started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Orbit Experience looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sayonara Zadiff couldn't come out from behind the leader, Coughing Gal.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Coughing Gal followed by Sayonara Zadiff and Silly Lemonade. Lane two Orbit Experience followed by Calling You Darling and Rainbow Wave.



Orbit Experience sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Coughing Gal galoped way to long and was disqualified.




Sayonara Zadiff never caught up with Orbit Experience who won. Calling You Darling came third.
