The weather had been good all week and Rättvik was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Je Sais Comment sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Moving Blizzard galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Popular Pop saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Toon galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Opinion Publique sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Opinion Publique followed by Decisive Technology and Popular Pop. Lane two Superformance followed by Je Sais Comment and Operator Jim.

Superformance suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Peter M Andersson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Toon started to galopp and lost 20 m.

Superformance didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
