Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Axevalla track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lucky Gold was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Big Strategy quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Big Strategy clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Big Strategy was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Cylwea gallopped for 20 m.



With only a little left of the race Cylwea galoped for 10 m. Big Strategy sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Big Strategy didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
