One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sele Resnica tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Rolling Flower that came steaming ahead.




Sele Resnica saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Sele Resnica was still in the lead after 1500m.




Ponyvecchio put some pressure on the leader and could take over. Sele Resnica was disturbed and gallopped for 20 m.



Ponyvecchio sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Rolling Flower sprinted over the finishline before Sele Resnica and Ponyvecchio.
