One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Running Starshine tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Coughing Blossom that came steaming ahead. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Gold Necklace sprinted to the front. driver couldn't keep Nice Infragment to trotting so they were disqualified. Please Mr Postman started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Running Starshine looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Running Starshine gallopped for 20 m. Running Starshine sat safely in the lead after 2000m. Coughing Blossom suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead. Running Starshine never caught up with Coughing Blossom who won. Please Mr Postman came third. Results
