One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Troubling Pixie sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Stefan Söderkvist wanted a little to much in the start and La Scoumoune galoped for 40 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Exotic Heroin sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Smiling Sapphire who started to galop and lost 10 m.




Exotic Heroin clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Exotic Heroin was still in the lead after 1500m. Giunchi showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Smiling Sapphire seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.



Smiling Sapphire sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Exotic Heroin won the race after a spectacular finish.
